Vintage Wilton Pewter (?) " E Pluribus Unum " Shaving Mug 1776-1976 This is a metal tankard or mug. One side has the United States seal on it which reads E Pluribus Unum 1776 1972 while the other side has a blank banner which may be able to have something engraved on. It holds 12 ounces and Normal patina and marks from age and use. Although this looks like pewter I believe it is actually an aluminum alloy. There is a partial sticker on the bottom. This round mug type bowl container would be perfect as a makeup /make up brush holder on a vanity. Possibly for a craft room, office or study holding supplies or utensils such as pens, pencils, scissors, or other items. Possibly a catch all dish by the front door, entry way or mud room for change, keys or coins. Or in a bathroom holding lotion bottles or soap bottle dispensers. Or even in a bedroom holding perfume bottles or jewelry. Possibly in the kitchen holding cooking utensils like spoons and spatulas. Or even used as a potted plant pot holder for succulents or flowers or even faux fake florals. So many options for this mug!
